“We want to have a gym for everybody,” said Adam Sedlack, Sr. Vice President of UFC Gym. With a new 38,000 square-foot facility recently opened in Concord, Calif., and plans for expansion nation and worldwide, UFC Gym certainly has room for everyone.

The new UFC Gym occupies a remodeled Comp USA store at the Willows Shopping Center in Concord. Its shopping-mall neighbors include REI, plus Gymboree Play Center, Jamba Juice, Old Navy Clothing and more. During the gym’s Grand Opening onJanuary 23, neighboring store The Golf Mart watched in awe as hundreds of UFC fans and potential gym members strode in and out of the new UFC facility. “Our neighbors at this mall may have had misconceptions and concerns before we opened” said Sedlack. “Now many of the employees of other stores are UFC Gym members.” And the rest certainly appreciate the additional traffic to this suburban mall.  read full story
